The awesome ugetab has released an updated version of nezplug that plays GBS files a lot better than before. He also says that certain 'broken' GBS rips he made play correctly in the updated plugin. So I gave my two 'broken' rips a shot. Picross 2 plays correctly now (beforehand, the PCM channel had hanging notes), but Side Pocket still has some problems (PCM channel having hanging notes again, but in the old plugin, ALL of the notes would hang. In the updated version, only some hang). I previously didn't release these GBSes because no gbs players played them correctly, except for the .gb gbs player. I thought maybe I did something wrong. I'm relieved to know I didn't. :) Well anyway, he also fixed the problem with the PCM channel where it'd play too quietly, which bugged the HELL out of me (just try listening to the main melody of Metroid 2, for example ;) ). Anyway, I'm going to see if I can finish up Picross 2 soon, so I can release it. I'm also thinking about doing some additional rips, so stay tuned! :D
